Henri Nannen Awards 2013
Each year, Gruner + Jahr and
stern magazine present the Henri Nannen Prize for the best German-language journalism in five categories. In addition to these categories, the judges give out a special award for outstanding journalistic achievements, as well as paying tribute to journalists for ‘outstanding efforts for independence of the press in Germany and abroad’, and for their ‘lifetime achievement in journalism’. The Henri Nannen Prize is endowed with a total purse of € 35,000.
The award presentation takes place on April 26, 2013. Due to construction works at the Deutsche Schauspielhaus, the presentation will be held at Kampnagel in Hamburg. It starts at 7.30 pm and will be streamed live on
stern.de.
