Jochen Arntz
Studied history, interned with Berliner Zeitung in 1994; served as Feuilleton editor and head of the Page 3 desk. In 2007, left to join Süddeutsche Zeitung, where he was Senior Editor for the Topic of the Day. Since 2009, Deputy Chief of the Page 3 desk at SZ.
Karl Günther Barth
1980-89 editor at the stern offices in Düsseldorf and Bonn, afterwards Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Express. 1994 author at stern, then in 1998 Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the BILD. Since 2001 Head of the City Desk and Deputy Editor-in-Chief at the Hamburger Abendblatt.
Bernhard Borgeest
Head of Reportage (Features) at FOCUS. Has worked as a carpenter, waiter and orchestral assistant. Degree in Geoecology from Bayreuth and Norwich (UK). Managed the GEOskop for GEO, was editor of ZEITmagazin Leben and deputy editor-in-chief of natur. Born in Munich in 1961.

Mark Ernsting
Deputy art director at stern since April 2009. December 2003 to March 2009 worked at stern graphics department. In 2002 joined publishers Gruner+Jahr as a graphic designer for Brigitte Young Miss. Previously freelanced for pilot editorial teams and agencies in Hamburg, Cologne and Düsseldorf.
Eva Fischer
Picture editor since 1975, for titles including Playboy, Lui, Photo, Transatlantik and since 1990, SZ-Magazin. Sits on international judging panels such as World Press and ICP.
Beatrix Gerstberger
Studied Political Science, Journalism and Nordic Studies in Munster. Editor at stern in the Modern Living Department. Chairperson of the Gabriel-Grüner-Stipendium for young journalistic talent. Since 1994 editor at the Brigitte Reportage Department.

Kuno Haberbusch
1979-81 publisher of the Süd-Ost-Kurier. 1981 free-lancer for various political TV magazine programs from ARD. 1985 editor at Panorama (NDR), then Head of the Panorama and EXTRA 3 Editorial Offices. Today he is Head of ZAPP and EXTRA 3.

Freddy Langer
